Partnership members
Youth Friendly Tournament
The Partnership has organised a Youth Friendly Tournament on Sunday 30th August, taking place at Wantage Town FC. There will be competitions for both Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
Partnership Launch Event
The Partnership Lauch event will take place on Saturday 17th October 2009 at King Alfred School West Site. This will feature organised matches and training by FA Qualified Coaches, plus fun events and catering. Watch this space for more details.
Partnership Dinner
The Partnership is holding a Premier Evening Dinner on Saturday 24th October 2009 to raise funds to support the development of football in the area. Ex Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Leeds United footballer John McGovern will be our guest speaker, and the prestigious evening will be compered by comedian Ian "Sludge" Lees. Tickets will be £45 inclusive of an excellent 4 course meal as well as the evening's entertainment.

Partnership Objectives
The Grove and Wantage Community Charter Standard Football Partnership was founded in 2008 as a body to coordinate organised football at Junior, Youth and Senior level in Grove and Wantage.
The purpose of the Partnership is to encourage and facilitate the playing of football for people of all ages in the area of Wantage and Grove, and to raise the standard of local facilities and resources
The partnership is formed from five local Football Clubs, each of which has obtained FA Charter status in its own right. Together these five Clubs in partnership have obtained FA Community Club status.
