About Us

Established in 2008 the “GWCCSFP” has been formed to unite all levels of football in the Grove and Wantage Area. The partnership was awarded the Community Charter Standard in October 2008. The first award of it’s kind given by the Football Association. It recognises that the partnership is run to the standard required by the FA to meet the demands of a community based organisation.
The “GWCCSFP” is open to all levels of football clubs within the area of Grove and Wantage. All participating clubs must have achieved their own FA Charter Standard to be a member, thus ensuring that all members are working to the recognised standard..
The current membership consists of :-
Grove Rangers FC (Adult Football)
Grove Challengers FC (Childrens Football)
Wantage Concordes (Childrens Football)
Wantage Girls (Girls Football)
Wantage Town FC (Youth,Adult & Veterans Football)

The partnership is working very closely with King Alfred Schools

Our development plan includes strong links with all local schools as well as disadvantage children and adults.
The strength of the partnership will be to coordinate grants and other benefits that are available to an organisation that has sporting activity as its main agenda.
